On February 15, 2025, ACE Advisory Board Member Marvellous Iheukwumere participated in the 27th Annual HBS Africa Business Conference as a speaker on the panel entitled "Cross Over Borders: The Global Rise of African Sports and Gaming". The discussion featured Josh Uche, NFL Player for the Philadelphia Eagles, Temi Afolabi, Global Expansion Lead, Xbox/Microsoft, and Cordel Robbin-Coker, Founder/CEO of Carry1st. The conversation focused on the following topics: scaling Africa's gaming ecosystem, advancing sports infrastructure, attracting international investment, the role of technology in connecting African gamers and athletes with global audiences, and fostering talent development on the continent to position Africa as a global leader in sports and gaming. The HBS Africa Business Conference is the largest student-run African conference in the world today. Held annually over the past 27 years, the conference hosts leaders and experts on Africa to discuss the state of and opportunities across the continent.
